Every Friday Morning, Shawnee TV produces a live 8-10 minute news and variety show for the entire Shawnee student body. Each episode covers the latest school announcements, promotes upcoming events, and aims to entertain with various skits and special show openings.

Now in its 12th season, the crew produces a live broadcast Monday through Thursday called "Shawnee Wake Up" and produces "The Renegade Morning Show" Fridays.

Video Yearbook Preview
On our first Morning Show of June, Brad Woodend and first time host Erik Stilley anchor the morning announcements. The show included an OC-spoof opening created by Alyssa Marsdale, a Lacrosse promo, and a sneak-peek of the 2006 Video Yearbook.

The Big Haircut
This week's Morning Show broke new ground as Junior Ben Plotnick had his hair cut live on the Renegade Morning Show (as part of his deal to be voted President of next year's Senior Class) while hosts Brad Woodend and Craig Schwait read the announcements. Sports was created by Ian Voglesong, Tori Panetta, and Brad Woodend. The Art Show opening and closing were both created by Greg Lewis.

Andrew Sims and Shawnee Exra win Student Emmy Award
Congratulations to Andrew Sims and all of the TV Tech crew who produced the 2004-2005 version of Shawnee Extra. The National Student Television Award was granted for best writing. The entire TV3 class traveled to Temple University where Andrew was given the award. Kyle Grzeszczak also entered for best news reporting for his LDTV award winning newspak about "42nd Street". Prom 2006 Coverage
Friday's Morning Show brought back SHS TV alumni Tori Panetta and JJ Horigan as hosts. The show opened and closed with video from Prom '06, Pete Cichon's voice was sounding a little high in Weather, and Brad Woodend reported on "Baseball Minute". Click here to watch the show.

Our May 12th show opened with a music video created by Kyle Grzeszczak and Lee Connoly, which was a spin off of "You're Beautiful". The show was hosted by Nik Tama and Kelly Jones, along with Logan Fairchild cover weather and footage from last Tuesday's Student/Faculty Basketball game. Watch the show now!

This week's Morning Show opens up with Shawnee's Principal providing a special Prom announcement. Hosted by Ty Schwing and Dana Gallagher, the show also features a Student/Faculty Basketball Game promo, a Special Olympics Update, and lunch and weather segments. Friday's Morning Show was hosted by Kelly Jones and Tondalaya Jefferson. The show featured a Student/Faculty basketball game promo as the opening and a segment where faculty trash talked students in reference to the upcoming game. The closing was the long-awaited drawing of students to compete against the faculty.
